THE COMPETITION

Award for merit in the Piano music Industry is regarded as one of the most famous and prestigious awards in the industry. Given annually by the Pianists Association, the awards are international recognition of excellence in music achievements, as assessed by the Association's voting membership. Pianists participate in an annual Evaluation between mid-August and November and receive a written assessment. The various category winners are awarded a statuette called the "Pianist Association Award of Merit". The award is presented annually on November 8, International Pianist Day.
